Overview[]
The Basilisk is a premium unit costing 60 added in the 2.2 Patch. It is a the unit whose main role is anti-infantry and acts as the bigger brother to the Tempest. It has only one attack throughout all six promotions. Holding a total of eight rotary cannons, it can attack entire row at once. At Rank 1, it deals 21-29 (4x) which is superior to the damage of a Rank 6 Tempest, which deals 16-19 (4x).
The Basilisk at Rank 1 has 310 HP (200 ,110 ). Having rather a low amount of armor at first makes the unit fragile. The main threat to this unit is shells/explosives, The unit's starting armor will be completely depleted after its been hit by two tank shells. Tank Killers are able to avoid the armor as they can destroy the unit in one shot. At Rank 5, this unit has long improved in damage and hp. The unit stands with 435 HP (280 ,155 ) and deals 29-40 (4x), this unit is able to face all infantry and even light vehicles such as the Humvee, Wolf Pickup, and the Wolf Artillery. It is advised not to attack any tank with this unit because projectile fire is the most ineffective way to do so. As for the best way to use this unit, placing it in the middle of a row will ensure it being able to attack all five squares of the opponent's frontline.

Trivia[]
- The 'dome' at the front of the turret may be a radar similar to the Soviet ZSU-23-4's radar.
- The name Basilisk in real-life may refer to several things, including the Basilisk creature of European mythology or the basilisk artillery piece.
- Based on its design, this vehicle is physically unable to turn it's turret in the idle animation. The guns are locking the turret to the hull. Only when the guns are raised to fire is the turret able to turn.
