The Bigfoot Shaman is a promotional unit designed to take out planes. It was released on 10 Jan 2014 and is a limited time unit (set to expire midnight PST 16 Jan 2014). It costs 75, but after completing the training mission, the player gets 5 back. The Shaman is built at the Animal Trainer (not the Bigfoot Training Camp). There has been a lot of controversy over this unit, because the stats differ between the introductory missions and the actual purchased unit. Before purchase, it has damage resistance 60% and 85%. Z2 has not yet confirmed this as intentional or a mistake. It was re-released for one day on October 26th 2015 for 56 as part of the Breaking Into the Vault! sale.
Much like many tribal mammalians, they'll fight amongst each other until a victor emerges as a leader. This process could take up to several weeks. It's quite a delicate ceremony, and any interference could be quite problematic. We must tread carefully.
Why don't we just pick a favorite and then beat up all the others?
Hmm. Yes. Go On.
I was expecting the Bigfoots to be upset by our interference, but it appears they are in fact grateful for our… quick negotiation skills. It would appear they'd like to give us the aid of their shamans in battle in exchange for our help.
Well, so everything worked out!
I mean, except for the fact that while we were out here negotiating Bigfoot politics a myriad of rebel planes have been spotted in our Outpost, yes.
