Overview

The Experimental Construct is a golden recolored version of Ancient Construct. Originally built as an experiment, it is much more powerful due to its high damage output, resistance to -type damage and high amount of health. However, the Experimental Construct is not immune to the Explosive or Shatter status effects, so if a player uses the Explosive AMP attack of the Weapon Technician, it can be destroyed in 1 shot using the Scram Cannon Turret.

There is a decorative statue of the Experimental Construct, which is unlocked after you defeat it. Players will face the Experimental Construct at the end of a mission chain at level 65 during the mission "Battle with Experiment X17".

In battle, it is encountered along with three Experiment X17s (golden recolored versions Construct Fragments).

It is possible to receive the Sinister and Dexter Fragment as a reward after defeating this boss.
