The Hospital allows players to heal units that become severely injured in battle. When units lose all their , they will become severely injured. Units in the Hospital require time to heal but not as many resources as training a new unit. Units that cost Nanopods to create can be healed in the Hospital for regular resources.
Players may only have one Hospital at a time, which means they can only heal units one at a time. The Hospital can never be "turned off", but can be sold to reclaim the workers if they have no need of it. Upgrading the Hospital will allow a queue for multiple units to be healed after the one.
As of 2.4 Patch, players may now build an Advanced Hospital to improve heal times and costs even further and have a larger healing queue. Also as of Patch 2.4, the population requirement for the Hospital has been reduced from -5 to -2.The Hospital no longer heals vehicles, destroyed vehicles will go to the Repair Bay/Advanced Repair Bay.
