Benefit[]
Trees may be bought and then sold for 10 as a way to convert gold into wood. The Joshua Tree is the most efficient for this purpose. Trees can also be raided or occupied for a small amount of wood (most yield 19 when occupied, except the Willow, which gives 57). There is currently no other known benefit to adding trees, aside from aesthetic purposes.
Certain types of tree are remarkably common in the forested areas of the Outpost, meaning you can get them for free when expanding over their districts. The two types of dead trees cannot currently be purchased from the store. If you would like them for decorations later, move them into an unused part of your outpost instead of selling them.
