Overview[]
The L7 Sandworm Drill is a vehicle designed for frontline combat. With 500 combined and at rank 1, it can survive encounters with high level enemies. In its first attack, the tank starts up the drill and rams the enemy causing 224-336 damage, which can tear up critters and infantry. The second attack is similar to the attack of a Dust Walker or a Saboteur, as the tank drills into the ground and hits the enemy with the drill. This attack is better used to take out weaker support units since it causes less damage.
The drill lacks anti-air attacks, and since it's attacks cause damage, it's better used against infantry (or critters) than against tanks. One of the major offsets of this tank is its fire protection. It takes a whopping 150% from and , so one should take caution when a player is up against sandworms and chemical units. The drill also takes a rare to heal, however at the level the player unlocks it, they probably aren't that hard for a player to get. Strangely it takes widgets to heal, but and to train.
Ironically, despite its name, many players find it ineffective against sandworms due to its extra fire vulnerability. On the plus side, it can gracefully kill a Groundshaker in about 3 hits, while a rank 3 Mega Tank would take 4 or more.
