Overview[]

The Thresher Tank is the Tier 10 prize in the 13th Boss Strike event, Boss Enforcer Shrow's Raid. It bears a resemblance to the Brutalizer with the added advantage of being able to hit non-vehicle units. It has three attacks: a below-average tank gun and an above average machine gun attack and a unique Chain Drive: Mine Flayer attack.

The final attack should be considered its main weapon, and the other two attacks should be used only to engage targets the Chain Drive cannot attack, to finish off severely wounded enemies or to cover the Chain Drive attack while it reloads. All attacks have relatively high critical chances and higher than average offense.

This unit has immunities against Cold Environment (BN iconCold), making it quite useful in the Boss Strike it was released in as well as the battles in the Eastern Wastes. It has a standard Tank Shell attack and relatively standard resistances for a Tank type unit. Its Chain Drive: Mine Flayer attack has a high chance to deal critical damage to vehicles; for example, it does make mince fish sandwich out of the mega tanks armour, effectively removing it as well as lots of the victim's health.

It has a moderate combined total health Stat-Armor-HP. However, as a front-line unit, this is relatively low and offsets the high damage output of the Chain Drive: Mine Flayer attack, and the player is encouraged to weighs the pros and cons of using such a unit with some armor, that is highly resistant armour. It is not that useful against the Ancient Sentinel, but may see some use against the Goliath Tank.

    • The mine flail is a device that can be attached to a tank and used to clear a path through a minefield.
    • This is the first Tank-type unit and the fifth non-Air unit reward in Boss Strike.
    • Its treads are not animated as it moves.
    • It has the look of a modified Super Tank.
